The Appapalli Mosque is administered by a 15-member Executive Committee. 4 of the 15 members are ex-officio members (the Managers and Assistant Managers of Appapalli and Maraikar Palli mosques). The General Body - comprising the members of Maraikar Palli and Appapalli Jamaths - selects the Committee. The General Body should meet every year towards the end of May and the selection of Managers and Assistant Managers is to be done once in every three years. The last election took place in May 2007.
